This film explores the latest finds of Jean-Yves Empereur in the mythical city of Alexandria. This episode will feature the 3D reconstitution of Ancient Alexandria at the time of Cleopatra.
New underwater discoveries in the bay of Alexandria such as a new colossal statue that was found recently, as well as finds from excavation sites inside the city walls (the canopic way, underground watertanks, the Cesareum and the famous royal necropolis ...) will complete the forgotten face of the city, with the expertise of French archaeologist Jean-Yves Empereur who rebuilds gradually the pieces of the Alexandrian puzzle.
