Vertèbres articulées d'un spécimen fossilisé de serpent, "Palaeophis maghrebianus", datant de l’Eocène et découverte au Maroc. Seule cette partie a été retrouvée, néanmoins, ces os sont caractéristiques chez les serpents et permettent de savoir de quel type d'animal il s'agit. Ce matériel a permis une redescription bien plus précise de l'espèce "Palaeophis maghrebianus". De plus l'analyse de la structure interne de plusieurs vertèbres a permis de montrer des adaptations à un mode de vie aquatique.
