In these extreme environments, microorganisms rule. Some animals have adapted in strange ways to be able to eat them. This film shows a team of scientists who studies the way they survive in very acid water as vinegar or alkaline as laundry detergent.
The inventory of extremophiles and of their ecosystem has just started. Their discover has already allowed to get new hypothesizes about Life on Earth and maybe somewhere else…
