The North Magnetic Pole is under the influence of two types of variation: the secular variation, which made the Geographic North Pole moves almost 15km per year, and the daily variation due to the solar winds perturbations. To know its exact position and then to proceed to various glaciological analyses, an international team has been to Resolute Bay, in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
