Karsha is a small village located on a Himalaya high-plateau, at an altitude of 4000 meters. Life of its inhabitants is governed by winter arrival, which isolates them during eight months. The Indian government has begun the construction of a road along the river, leading to the entry of the valley, the “Chaddar road”. As the interviews go along, inhabitants show their living conditions, their expectations concerning the end of the isolation thanks to the future road.
